Why we visited Monterrey in the 1st place

The real reason...aside from all the nice tourism and the great cabrito -- the real reason we went to Monterrey, was to visit our Tio and Tia...Don Cesario and the loveley Juanita...her are some pics of us visiting El Paseo Santa Lucía and a few other pics later that night.

Later that night...we visited my primo Pancho at his business -- here's a good pic of his wife and his two girls, as well as Tio y Tia.

This last pic was taken with "El Cerro de la Silla" in the backgroud (yup...and Gene made an appaernce :)

After Christmas - visit to Monterrey Mexico!

Yup...we went from Corpus Christi, to Jacksboro...back to Corpus Christi, did a quick visit in Alice, then back to Corpus Christi...next day headed down to Monterrey, Mexico -- let's just say, I've got the "Dora the Explorer" DVD memorized! (we've got a DVD player in the Suburban...and that's ALL Grace wants to watch -- and we've got about 4 other DVDs).

Neil and Syda's last day we visited Palmetto Park down the street - it's great place to take OZO for a walk/swim -- Ozo loves swimming!

At night...nothing goes better than some good ol smoked BBQ, Tejano style

Thanks again to Grandma for babysitting two nights in a row! Neil and Syda - we had a great time...we'll see ya soon!! To the rest of ya'll out there...mi casa es su casa...Drop us a line and we'll do a que :)
